Admissions
1. Admission Form Distribution:
- Admission forms will be distributed from 1st September to 8th October.
- Forms will not be distributed without seeing the candidate.
- From each family, only one child (candidate) will be eligible to collect the form.
2. Admission Form Submission & Admission Test Date:
- The last date for admission form submission is 19th October.
- Admission test will be held on 25th October (depending on Saturday, the date may change every year). The admission date will be informed to parents during form distribution and also mentioned in flyers and notices at the gate.
- Parents will receive a phone reminder about the admission test date two days before the exam.
3. Admission Test Question:
- Admission test questions will be updated every year.
- Questions will be modified by the respected Admins with advice from the CS Head, Director, and Sponsor.
4. Admission Test Procedure:
- Only candidates who submitted forms will be eligible to sit for the admission test.
- Teachers will escort candidates to the exam hall after cross-checking their forms.
- KG-2: Bangla, English, Math – Test duration 1 hour.
- Class 3 and higher: Bangla, English, Math – Test duration 2 hours.
5. Admission Test Copies Checking & Result Distribution:
- Teachers will check the admission test copies and submit results to the Admins.
- Results will be published in the last week of November.
- Admins will call parents to notify exam results.
- Names of successful candidates will be displayed at the gate for one week with their information.
6. Home Visit of the Candidates:
- Admins and Teachers will visit the homes of successful candidates for survey purposes.
- Home visits will take place in November–December.
- If more than one candidate is found in the same family, the candidate’s form will be canceled. (This warning will be included in the Admission Form and informed during distribution.)
7. Sorting the Eligible Forms for Interview After Home Visit:
Eligible forms will be sorted based on the Community School and selected using the following criteria:
- Candidate scored higher marks and has family issues (single parent/does not live with parents/gender discrimination).
- Candidate scored higher marks but has no family issues.
- Candidate did not score well but has family issues.
- Candidate did not score well but passed.
8. Interview of the Eligible Candidates:
- Interview dates will be fixed by the Director and Sponsor, scheduled in December.
- Parents will be informed of the interview date one week in advance over the phone.
- The candidate must show the previous school’s report card during the interview. Parents will be reminded to bring it when informed of the interview date.
- All submitted forms will be placed on the interview table.
- Selected and canceled forms will be kept in separate baskets for interviewer review.
- Only one candidate with parents may enter the interview room at a time.
- Selection/Pending lists will be recorded in the register book.
- The new session’s class opening date and time will be informed to selected candidates.
9. Refreshment Arrangement for Candidates & Parents:
The School Admin will arrange refreshments for candidates and parents during interview time, as advised by the Director and Sponsor. Snacks or lunch will also be provided for all volunteers, teachers, and parents.

- Preference is given to marginalized children, on a ‘need basis’ as admission eligibility.
- No fee is charged for the admission.
- Admission form distribution starts from September.
- The last date for submitting admission forms is October 1–8.
- After submitting the form, admission is confirmed by verifying the authenticity of the information mentioned in it.
- The financial status of each family is investigated and monitored according to the address.
